The Environmental Protection Agency have audited Microchem Laboratory and they confirmed that TK60 Disinfectant Kills Covid-19 Fast. In their review of the test results for TK60 it was confirmed that it kills 99.99% of COVID-19 in just 20 seconds.
This far surpasses their requirement of disinfectants to eliminate 99.9% of COVID-19 in 10 minutes. Potentially this opens the door for the product to become an effective and fast acting disinfectant globally (subject to suitable production levels).
TK60 is a one-step healthcare grade disinfectant that could really change the cleaning processes of emergency care worldwide. Most ER rooms, especially in the US, are under increasing pressure to treat patients quickly and effectively. This new formula has now been proven to work effectively.
The Environmental Protection Agencies results are particularly meaningful when considering a previous case study revealed that when TK60 disinfectant was evaluated against Virex 256, a commonly used 10-minute contact time disinfectant, room turn time was decreased by an average of 49-minutes.
Rayne Guest, founder & CEO of R-Water said, “TK60 is successfully used in numerous hospitals and extended care environments. By prioritizing operational efficiency, organizations can enable our healthcare heroes to focus on patient care versus cumbersome disinfection procedures. It has been extremely gratifying to hear the feedback from our clients during the pandemic.”
Most disinfectants on the EPA List N have a 10-minute contact time. Additionally, almost all of the disinfectants contain hazardous chemicals and require shipping, extensive personal protective equipment, as well as extra labor steps such as pre-cleaning, multiple applications, and rinsing.
TK60 however, is hypoallergenic and produced on-site via a patented device that can provide up to 300 gallons each day. The active ingredient in TK60 is hypochlorous acid, the same compound naturally produced by white blood cells to fight infections.
At present the Environmental Protection Agency excludes disinfectants produced by EPA regulated devices from the List N. If a product is already in production that could save lives it should be brought to the attention of the government to make sure it is fully utilized before more lives are lost.
Covid-19 vaccinations are coming but not as fast enough to save many 1000’s of US lives. It is therefore very important that corporations keep checking and reviewing third party lab reports. As products improve they should be careful when choosing a disinfectant to provide the most benefit to their organization and the public at large.
