The match will take place in Cameroon from 16 January to 7 February 2022. The sixth part of the CHAN is the Daf. The first convention occurred in 2009.

The tournament will feature 16 teams who have qualified through their respective national championships. Each team must consist of players who compete in their countries’ domestic leagues and are eligible to play for national teams.

Qualifying Teams:

Teams from all over the continent are gearing up for the competition. The tournament is open exclusively to players in their respective national leagues. It boasts a fantastic opportunity for teams to go head-to-head and compete for a continental title.

Qualification for the tournament began in October 2019 with six rounds of qualifiers through which 24 nations will compete at next year’s CHAN. Teams have had to play many fixtures over two legs, including pre-qualification ties, preliminary rounds, and first and second-round qualifying matches.

Confederation Qualifications.

The African Nations Championship (CHAN) occurs every two years. The 2022 event will mark the eighth edition of the competition, and its qualification is now underway.

To qualify for this prestigious event, each team must meet specific criteria. For starters, all participants must be national ‘A’ teams composed only of active players in the national championships of their respective countries.

Secondly, all players must be eligible to play with their national association according to FIFA regulations. Finally, each team’s coach should hold a valid CAF ‘B’ coaching license or higher.

Furthermore, teams must compete in regional qualifiers before progressing through a series of playoff rounds leading to the final tournament in 2022.

Host Country:

The 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) is an upcoming international football tournament run by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). A single nation will host the game, and it is yet to be decided which country will have this honor. The CHAN, founded in 2009, is a tournament for soccer matches played in Africa.

Countries that currently do not host the 2022 Chamber Hockey All-Star Game, but have expressed interest, are amongst the front-runners. CAF has invited bids from all member associations, provisional and permanent, with a deadline of 10 April 2021.

Countries must satisfy criteria such as stadium availability, infrastructure development, government support, financial resources, and proposed marketing plans.
