DAVAO CITY – In a late-night buy-bust operation conducted on Friday, authorities successfully confiscated PHP2 million worth of suspected illegal drugs.
The operation, which took place at Dacudao Avenue in Barangay Governor Paciano Bangoy, resulted in the arrest of Kurt Aaron Espinosa, an 18-year-old individual who reportedly holds a high position on the police drug list.
Arrest Made in the Bust
Espinosa was apprehended after he handed over a package containing approximately 103 grams of suspected shabu to an undercover agent acting as a poseur-buyer. In exchange for the drugs, Espinosa accepted PHP1,000 in marked money. The swift action by law enforcement officials led to the immediate arrest of the suspect.
Substantial Seizure
During the operation, authorities confiscated a total of three transparent plastic sachets believed to contain shabu. One sachet was small, while the remaining two were larger in size.
The combined value of the seized illegal drugs amounts to an estimated PHP2 million.
