As part of its drive to diminish its carbon footprint, Kajaria Ceramics will source a significant proportion of the power essential for its Sikandrabad facility from renewable sources, firmly cementing its dedication to eco-friendly operations.
The formalization of the Power Purchase Agreement signifies a crucial stride towards embracing and integrating green energy, thereby elevating its environmental stewardship and accountability.
An Impactful Green Endeavor
Under this agreement, Sunsure Energy will channel more than 15.75 million units of clean, green power directly to Kajaria’s Sikandrabad factory. This transformative initiative is anticipated to effectively offset an impressive 12.6 million kilograms of CO2 emissions on an annual basis over the next twenty-five years.
