Sending Aid Amidst Palestinian Humanitarian Crisis
In a gesture of solidarity, the UAE initiated a humanitarian mission to provide essential supplies to the Gaza Strip.
Today, a UAE aircraft laden with 25 tonnes of crucial food, medical, and relief provisions embarked on a journey to El Arish city in Egypt. This mission is a precursor to delivering aid to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah Border Crossing, in collaboration with the UN World Food Programme.
The humanitarian effort is part of the ‘Tarahum for Gaza’ campaign, spearheaded by the UAE since October, aimed at assembling and preparing relief packages to alleviate the Palestinian humanitarian crisis, particularly impacting vulnerable groups like children and women.
