Adamson’s Unwavering Winning Streak

In a spectacular display of skill and teamwork, Adamson University continued its dominance in the UAAP Season 86 boys’ basketball by securing its 11th win against De La Salle Zobel (DLSZ). The game, which ended with a score of 74-59, was held at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City, showcasing Adamson’s prowess in the league.

 

Key Players in the Spotlight

Justine Garcia and JC Bonzalida, both scoring 14 points, led the Baby Falcons to victory. Their impressive stats, including Garcia’s five rebounds, six assists, and five steals, and Bonzalida’s 13 rebounds, were pivotal in the team’s success. Vince Reyes also contributed significantly with 11 points and three rebounds.

 

DLSZ’s Efforts and Standouts

Despite their loss, DLSZ displayed commendable efforts, with Maco Dabao scoring 26 points and Waki Espina producing 25 points and six rebounds. The Green Archers now face their ninth loss in twelve games, posing challenges for their standing in the league.

 

Other Matches in the UAAP Season

In another match, National University-Nazareth School outshone the University of the Philippines Integrated School with a score of 90-65. Nigerian player Collins Akowe led the Bullpups with 19 points and 20 rebounds, maintaining their second-place position in the league.

 

Far Eastern University-Diliman’s Close Victory

Far Eastern University-Diliman also made headlines by narrowly defeating Ateneo, 67-65, improving their record to 7-5. Swybe Miranda’s contribution of 18 points and nine assists was crucial for the Baby Tamaraws. Kris Porter’s 21 points and 18 rebounds were notable for the Blue Eaglets, who now face a 4-8 record.
