  • Official government image libraries.
  • Licensed stock images with documented permission.
  • Original graphics, charts, or illustrations created in-house.

Restricted or high-risk sources

  • Celebrity, sports, or event photography unless properly licensed.
  • Images sourced from social media, blogs, or unknown origins.
  • Professional press photographs from news agencies.
  • Images labelled “All rights reserved” or with unclear licensing.

When suitable images are unavailable, THX News may use text-only presentation or original graphics.

Attribution

Where a licence requires attribution, credit is provided clearly and accurately. Attribution does not imply endorsement and does not substitute for licensing where permission is required.

Documentation

For non-original images, THX News maintains internal records of source, licence type, and retrieval date for compliance purposes.

Incident response

If a potential copyright issue is identified:

  • The image is removed or replaced promptly.
  • Relevant information is reviewed.
  • Documentation is preserved.
  • Further action is determined based on available evidence.
