North of England to Reap the Benefits
The collaboration is set to deliver tangible results, especially in the North of England. Manchester’s Graphene Innovation Manchester (GIM) and Saudi Arabia’s NEOM project are launching the world’s first graphene-enriched carbon fibre production facility.
This £250 million investment will create over 1,000 skilled jobs in Greater Manchester.
Additionally, Newcastle’s growing partnership with Saudi Arabia is fostering urban regeneration, while Stockport’s Brunswick Mill redevelopment will receive a £41 million Saudi investment.
