Our Corrections Policy

Accuracy is a core editorial requirement at THX News. This page sets out the procedures followed when factual errors are identified in published content. The corrections process forms part of our Editorial Standards and applies to all material.

Reporting an Error

Readers who believe an article contains a factual error may notify the editorial team by email. Reports should include a link to the article and a clear description of the issue.

Review and Assessment

Reported issues are reviewed by the editorial team. This review may include checking the original source material, consulting additional documentation, and assessing whether the published content accurately represents the available information.

Types of Corrections

Corrections are handled according to the nature and significance of the error.

  • Minor errors: Typographical issues or formatting errors that do not alter the factual meaning of the content may be corrected directly.
  • Substantive factual errors: Errors that materially affect the accuracy or interpretation of an article are corrected in the text, and a clearly labelled “Correction:” note is added at the end of the article. The note explains the change and includes the date of correction.

Editorial Responsibility

Responsibility for published content rests with THX News. Corrections are issued as part of normal editorial practice and do not alter the obligation to apply verification and editorial standards prior to publication.
