Local nonprofits and small businesses have a new opportunity to secure funding, as the City of Tucson announces the opening of its third round of the Community Partner Grant Program.

Applications are being accepted until Monday, September 30, 2024, offering crucial support for organizations aiming to make a positive impact on the community.

Get Funding to Help Build Tucson’s Future

The third round of Tucson’s Community Partner Grant Program is now accepting applications, with a funding period running from November 1, 2024, to June 30, 2026.

The program supports local organizations that provide services to Tucson residents, with a minimum funding request of $10,000 required. The focus areas include small business support, affordable housing, youth development, and arts and culture.

If your organization or business is working to uplift the community, this grant offers a valuable opportunity to fund new or existing projects.

The application process is designed to ensure that organizations committed to making long-term, transformative investments in the community receive the necessary financial support.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Organizations applying for funding must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be in good standing with the federal government, providing a DUNS or Unique Entity ID from SAM.gov.
  • Have an active City of Tucson Business License, registered at the address where services are provided.

Both nonprofit organizations and for-profit businesses are eligible, provided they comply with the grant’s criteria.

The program is also open to those working in specific areas, including affordable housing, arts and culture, workforce development, and health and safety programming.

  • Funding Period: November 1, 2024 – June 30, 2026
  • Mandatory Technical Assistance Webinar: Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 3 p.m.

After applications are submitted, the city will begin scheduling mandatory Technical Assistance workshops for all awardees. These workshops are aimed at ensuring that all funding requirements and reporting obligations are clear before the start of the program period.
