Tucson’s much-anticipated Fall Family Festival is back this year at Gene C. Reid Park on Saturday, Nov. 16, promising a full day of exciting family-friendly activities.
From the energetic Turkey Trot to the glowing Pumpkin Flotilla, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. With games, live entertainment, and plenty of food, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the autumn season.
A Day Packed with Activities for All Ages
This year’s festival offers an expanded lineup of events, ensuring fun for all ages throughout the day.
Whether you’re up for racing in the Turkey Trot or ready to show off your creativity at the Pumpkin Derby, the festival has something to keep everyone entertained. Kids can explore a Fossil Dig, participate in S’mores Bar, or even compete in the Pumpkin Catapult contest.

- 7:30-9 a.m.: Turkey Trot
- 8 a.m.-Noon: Gardening Demo (Rose Garden)
- 8 a.m.-6 p.m.: Recipe Trading Board
- 8:30-11 a.m.: RC Cars (must bring your own electric RC car)
- 9-11 a.m.: Fossil Dig
- 9-11 a.m.: Paint by Number

- 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Petpalooza (Dog Park)
- 11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Pumpkin Derby (pre-registration required)
- 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m.: Food Truck Roundup with live entertainment from Tucson Jazz Festival and Tucson Pops Orchestra
- 11 a.m.-6 p.m.: STEM Expo with SARSEF and TEP

- Noon-3 p.m.: Sidewalk Chalk
- 1-3 p.m.: Picture Mural
- 2-4 p.m.: Lego Program
