Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability (ADS), Mallory Stewart, will embark on a pivotal journey to California to advance the United States’ space security initiatives.

On July 17, Stewart will commence her visit at the Space Systems Command in Los Angeles. The SSC plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the United States’ national security space architecture.

  • Meetings with Lieutenant General Doug Schiess, Commander of U.S. Space Forces – Space (S4S).
  • Briefings from the 18th Space Defense Squadron on the Space Domain Awareness mission.
  • Insights into Space Delta One’s training enterprise.
