The “Lab for All” project, officially known as Libreng Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat, was launched with a mission to break down the barriers that many Filipinos face when seeking medical care.
This initiative offers a variety of free health services, including laboratory tests, X-rays, specialist consultations, and medications.
The mobile caravan model ensures these services reach even the most isolated areas, making healthcare accessible to those who might otherwise go without.

Speaker Martin Romualdez has praised the project, highlighting its significant impact on Filipino lives. During the project’s launch in Tacloban City, Romualdez emphasized how the free health services offered by “Lab for All” reduce geographical and financial barriers.
“Ang proyekto pong ito ay may malalim na epekto at kahalagahan para sa ating mga kababayang Pilipino,”
he said, stressing the project’s importance in providing essential healthcare to underserved communities.
Addressing Critical Health Needs
Romualdez pointed out that many Filipinos in remote areas lack adequate access to medical services, often neglecting their health due to the difficulty and expense of traveling to distant hospitals.
“Para sa mga ordinaryong Pilipino, ang ‘Lab for All’ caravan ay isang malaking tulong,” he stated.
The convenience of having medical services delivered directly to their communities spares them the fatigue, cost, and strain of long journeys.
Government and Community Support
The success of the project is bolstered by strong government backing and community support. During the Tacloban City event, Romualdez, along with other officials, distributed PHP4.2 million in financial aid under the Department of Labor and Employment’s TUPAD program.
This aid benefited 1,026 workers, each receiving PHP4,050, further demonstrating the government’s commitment to supporting the Filipino people.
