The city is now accepting applications for the Youth & Education Commission, inviting high school, college, and homeschooled students aged 16–24 to join efforts in advancing educational access and achievement across the community.

A Platform for Change
Selected youth members will collaborate with education leaders, city officials, and fellow representatives both virtually and in-person.
Their mission: design and implement initiatives that promote educational equity within Phoenix. Monthly council meetings and quarterly youth sessions will serve as platforms for these discussions.

Applications are now open online. Applicants must create an account on the City of Phoenix’s Boards and Commissions page before inputting their information under the “Profile” tab.
